Hello, I'm Bella, I made this journal because I wanted an alternative to my actual, physical journal, it's likely to see venting, writing, and a whole lot of complaining, along with rants about music, literature and things of the sort. I can partially play the guitar, I write a LOT of poetry about whatever's on my mind, I really want to learn songwriting and lyricism (I totally accept pointers, btw).
Im very much into literature, I'm reading Animal Farm at the moment, and I just finished 1984 a few weeks ago, though my favorite book at the moment is The Catcher in The Rye. I've read Twilight in full, which I loved because I'm the cheesiest person you'll meet, I'm likely to read Fight Club next.
I'm also into film and cinematography, my favorite director is Catherine Hardwicke, I LOVE her work on thirteen and Twilight, I wish she directed the rest of the saga, but oh well! Some of my other favorites are: American Psycho, Jennifer's Body, Heathers, Black Swan, Virgin Suicides, and Girl, Interrupted.
As for music, I enjoy a bunch of stuff, current in love with FOB and TAI..., the list goes... Pierce The Veil, Sunny Day Real Estate, Jimmy Eat World, Panic! At The Disco, A Heartwell Ending, Cobra Starship, My Chemical Romance, Cute Is What We Aim For, Gym Class Heroes, Finch, Cap'n Jazz, Black Veil Brides, Sleeping With Sirens, Death Cab for Cutie, and Green Day, I'm always open to suggestions(Plus I prolly forgot some).
I hope you enjoy reading my entries! :)

Mar. 14th, 2026 11:25 amI got to cut class since 4th period, plus I'm not going tomorrow anyway so I got early springbreak! I need to buy the phone plan for my flip phone now that I have it (finally).
Testing is gonna start up now in April unfortunately, but its worth it for that feeling of utter relief when it's over, it does mean I have to actually learn math now, I absolutely hate algebra.
Though my reading exams have always been easy for me, I got the highest in my grade last quarter, plus I'm just best at reading and creative writing, it's my thing, sort of.
But I get to worry allllll about that after spring break, thankfully.

Mar. 11th, 2026 12:25 amI know I said I was gonna read Fight Club next...but that copy of To Kill A Mockingbird was looking at me funny. I also got The Story of Ferdinand, which I read in like 5 minutes. I did finish Animal Farm, though! Amazing representation of communism, I've studied a whole lot about the Cuban revolution and the lying is definitely a massive part of communism as a whole.
Btw, I’m super big on answering questions, so leave some in the comments and I’ll get around to answering ‘em.

Out of Sight, Out of Mind?
Mar. 9th, 2026 12:23 amNever in my sight, yet you're always in my mind, effects lingering in the back of my head till the end of time, yet the end of time never comes, ticking in my head like a heartbeat, as I take all the skeletons out the closet and drag them to the nearest lake in town, as I drown the consequence of your affection in the vices that grip me, adding insult to the injury.
God Bless, God Bless Star 67...
Mar. 6th, 2026 12:24 amEven before listening to the demos that released, Im pretty sure Hand Of God was my favorite, it still is, but I think star67 is a very close runner up now, oh my god and my songs know what you did in the dark?? The demo is SO good Im freaking out.
"Fall asleep, phone in hand, god bless, god bless, star 67"
"Im sick of always writing songs for you to slit your wrists to"
God bless fall out boy

Mar. 5th, 2026 09:13 pmSometimes I get this gaping feeling in my stomach, as if everything I know is too good to be true, I always start a friendships with the thought of when it'll end, and I'm usually right. Its too good, its too wonderful for me of all people, it always ends up in loneliness, whether from my own accord or not. I guess I take my pills before I ever take my chances. Hallelujah, am I right?
Sometimes I wonder if i put in too much or too little effort. I mean, I look around me and then at all these kids at me school, and I think I put in too much effort. They don't really read much, and from what I've seen, interact with things on a surface level to the point where I don't know if they're playing stupid or not. And they look way happier than me, so my question is: Am I too educated? Maybe if I was slightly dumber I'd be happier, like them. It's not an insult either, I'm curious. Maybe this is like 1984 where the oblivious are happier and the aware are miserable.
